Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The location was great, close to everything but also a bit smelly at times. The rooms were spacious but had some noise issues. The service was fantastic, especially from Heather who went above and beyond to assist us. The dining experience was ordinary, and the prices were a bit steep. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.
The hotel is nestled in a beautiful old cloister with special outside views, but the rooms were a bit basic and not as expected for this level of hotel. Despite some low ceiling spots, it didn't pose much of an issue during my stay.
The rooms at the hotel were a good size but lacked sufficient storage, especially in the bathroom. Unfortunately, the spiral staircase access made it challenging for me as a solo traveler with a heavy suitcase. Despite the friendly staff, the cost of the rooms did not match the level of assistance provided.
The hotel had some positives like comfortable rooms with good air conditioning but also had drawbacks such as a missing bed and inefficient use of space. The service was a mix of dismissive behavior with responsive staff. The location was convenient but with disappointing cleanliness. The dining was varied in quality and pricing. Overall, there were hits and misses during my stay.
My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The room was a bit messy but acceptable, and the window provided natural light, though the lack of comfort with old lumpy pillows and no headboard was a downside. The balcony was dark, but the air conditioning worked better than in other places I've stayed, keeping me warm on a cold January night with plenty of hot water available.
Staying at the hotel was a delightful experience with superb location, easy access to a private car park within Avignon's city walls, and exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. The modern annexe lacked character but provided a comfortable stay despite some rooms being a bit run down, attributable to the challenges of converting old buildings into modern accommodations.
